Serving Shavington · minutes from home
Seven minutes. That's the gap between another week of "pardon?" and hearing properly again. Up Rope Lane or in from the A500 side, our pharmacist-led microsuction clinic is barely out of the village.
Blocked ears are one of those problems people quietly live with — turning up the television, asking colleagues to repeat themselves, avoiding phone calls. Usually because sorting it feels like a palaver. From Shavington, it isn't: whether you come up Rope Lane towards town or swing in from the A500 corridor side, the trip to 139-141 Nantwich Road takes about seven minutes. You've spent longer queueing for fuel.
The village has grown quickly in recent years, and plenty of newer residents haven't yet worked out where to go for the small clinical stuff. So, for the record: the ear wax clinic at Crewe Pharmacy is pharmacist-led, runs inside a GPhC-registered pharmacy (premises No. 1029608), and uses water-free microsuction rather than old-fashioned syringing. No GP referral, no waiting list — appointments are usually available within the same week, with Saturday slots for anyone who can't slip out in the working day.
Every appointment starts with an examination of both ears — included, not an extra. If wax needs removing, it's £50 for one ear or £70 for both, settled before we begin. If your ears are actually clear, we tell you that instead and help you work out what's really going on. Twenty minutes, in and out, and the drive home tends to sound remarkably crisp.
